SECURE RESOURCES TO STRENGTHEN THE FIGHT TO CURE SARCOMAS

What is Sarcoma?

Learn More

Sarcomas arise from the muscles, nerves, bone, fat and blood vessels in the body. Each year, approximately 14,000 new cases of bone and soft tissue sarcomas are diagnosed and close to 6,000 people die as a result of this disease. Because sarcomas are rare, research has been limited and thus improvements in treatment and search for a cure have been stunted.

5th Annual Sarcoma Soiree

Odds are you will have a fabulous time while helping raise funds for a cure. Join us for a casino night, dinner stations, cocktails, and silent and live auction.

All proceeds of this event go towards Stronger than Sarcoma for clinical trial development for those affected with this deadly disease.

Funding for Sarcoma Research

In 2011, Sarcoma received less than 3% of cancer research funding, despite affecting 20% of cancers in children

“Sarcomas account for 1% of all adult-related cancers and 20% of all pediatric cancers. Despite this, sarcoma receives less than 3% of world-wide cancer funding.”
